Nowadays, the nursing in Portugal has been suffering from emigration. The
lack of jobs takes nurses to emigrate to other countries. This change forces
them to learn a new language, a new culture and new customs. With English II
(or Nursing II), the nursing students learn terms and techniques of nursing in
English, characterized as being an Universal Language. These classes are
essential to prepare us for our future as nurses.
