Nursing II in my future profession

Nowadays, the nursing in Portugal has been suffering from emigration. The lack of jobs takes nurses to emigrate to other countries. This change forces them to learn a new language, a new culture and new customs. With English II (or Nursing II), the nursing students learn terms and techniques of nursing in English, characterized as being an Universal Language. These classes are essential to prepare us for our future as nurses.

Why I chose nursing?

When I was 13 years old, I was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus Type I, and this disease was important in my choice for what I really wanted to do in my future. I want to show to the others patients that everything is possible and with effort and dedication we overcome everything. I decided to be a nurse, and I don’t regret that decision. I like to be helpful to others and I want to help them feeling better. I think I'm on track to feel fulfilled.
